NDIS funding may be available for counselling-based therapeutic supports only, for self-managed or plan-managed participants, where the support aligns with plan goals and is considered reasonable and necessary.

This may include counselling-based therapy sessions (including creative and experiential approaches used within counselling) and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), where approved and aligned with the participant’s plan.

NDIS funding is not available for complementary or alternative modalities, including Psych-K or Access Bars.

Medicare rebates are not available for these services.

Some private health insurance funds such as Medibank, HCF, BUPA, AHM and ARHG may offer rebates for counselling, depending on the insurer and level of cover.

Clients are encouraged to check directly with their health fund regarding eligibility.

Session fees vary depending on the type and length of support. Standard session rates are $156.15 for 45mins, in alignment with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Please get in touch and we can share the full fee schedule and discuss what support might be appropriate.

Availability varies throughout the year. If you’re considering therapy, please reach out with your preferred days and times and we’ll let you know what is possible. I am currently in the studio on Mondays and Saturdays.
