A SPACE FOR YOUR CHILD & INNER-CHILD

RAIN & ME. Children’s Therapy is a gentle, relational practice in Melbourne’s Inner West, devoted to reimagining the image of the child — within and without.

This is a space for children, families, and the child within us all to arrive as they are.
To be met with care rather than correction.
To make sense of feelings, experiences, and behaviours that are often misunderstood or pathologised.

Here, we begin from the understanding that nothing is “wrong.”
What children and adults feel, express, and struggle with is understandable — especially in a world that often moves too fast and asks too much.

Support is not about fixing who you are, but about creating the safety and space needed to return to a sense of self rooted in true nature: inherently good, worthy, and whole.

    Art Therapy

Art therapy offers children, teens, and adults a creative way to explore feelings and experiences that don’t always fit into words. Through art-making, we support emotional awareness, regulation, and connection, allowing expression to unfold at a pace that feels respectful and safe. The focus is not on fixing behaviour, but on creating space for curiosity, meaning-making, and relationship.

    Holistic Therapies

Holistic therapies offer an optional, reflective layer of support for those seeking a more integrative approach. These sessions may feel calming, grounding, or supportive during periods of change, stress, or self-exploration. Holistic services are offered separately from counselling-based therapy and are guided by individual choice, consent, and personal preference. (Not claimable under NDIS)

    Parenting Support

Parenting can bring up big feelings — love, exhaustion, frustration, tenderness, and doubt — all of which are understandable. Parenting support offers a paced, relational space to explore what gets activated under stress and to strengthen emotional awareness, co-regulation, and compassionate boundaries. The aim is greater steadiness, repair, and connection, rather than striving to be a “better” parent.

    SSP

The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) is a gentle, listening-based program that supports nervous system regulation and a sense of safety in connection. Some people notice greater ease with stress, improved capacity for engagement, or increased comfort in social and sensory environments. The process is collaborative, carefully paced, and guided by ongoing check-ins.
